Mission Statement
"To equip public safety and health officials with the standardized protocols, training, and education necessary to safely manage UAP encounters as critical local public safety incidents."
Pioneering standardized emergency response and operational protocols for an unconventional threat.
"To equip public safety and health officials with the standardized protocols, training, and education necessary to safely manage UAP encounters as critical local public safety incidents."
UAP Ready is composed of a growing network of emergency management professionals, law enforcement, academics and aviation experts.
We recognize that local agencies are often the first to respond when extraordinary incidents occur in their airspace. Without proper training, protocols, or situational awareness, these incidents present an unprecedented occupational hazard and public safety risk.
Our network bridges the domain awareness gap by adapting established all-hazards frameworks (like NIMS and ICS) for UAP incidents, ensuring frontline professionals have the specialized standard operating procedures (SOPs) they need to operate safely and effectively. For a structured operational framework, see our UAP Encounter Preparedness Guide.
Aligning response plans with FEMA all-hazards guidelines and THIRA methodologies.
Developing protocols that prioritize officer safety and effective public engagement.
Translating complex airspace domain awareness gaps into actionable local guidance.
Providing frameworks to respond to low-probability, high-consequence biological or chemical hazards.
